If that is 1.2 x 1.2 meter tent. I wud go min 6inch extraction rvk L1. With 5inch rvk A1intake. 6inch rhino pro filter

I use 1.2x 1.2 for flower tent but went bigger on extractor an intake as i use a fan controller. I also blow through my filter this allows me to remove the filter from inside the tent an save space

When deciding on filter size though you want to match the m3/hr of extraction fan to filter or have the filter m3/hr bigger than fan

AC if you are using any kind of controller (or thinking of using) that isn't PWM i.e Ecotechnics, Swiftair etc.

DC if using PWM controller e.g PC fan controller

Apologies, misread the EC for DC

EC (Electronically Comutated or Brushless) are a different thing altogether. If you get an EC fan, you must get a compatible controller, most likely from the same supplier. They are upto 30% more efficient than AC fans, less noise, longer lasting but about 60% more expensive at the moment.

Very accurate control so if your budget allows then go for it

If you have the money i would go for the setup i have. Its a hydrolab 1.2x1.2x2.3 and a hyperfan stealth with phonic trap ducting. Its not as silent as you think but its efficent.

So EC is the one to go for. Has it always been 60% more expensive?
