Day 70 no white hairs

Hello everyone I have a fem seed plant around 70 days from seed and the light has been on 12-12 for around a month and nothing has happened apart from growing a small bit, the plant wasn’t in complete darkness I divided a cupboard and there was some light leaks.

Today I got a new tent and put them both in and I’m going to leave in darkness for 2 days, I’m wondering what can happen to the plant and is it worth carrying on or just throw them away and start again

Your light leaks could have prevented the plant from flowering

hey bud it might not affect much but id say try to take the blue film off ya light shade as that might emit a slightly blue light and your more after the red spectrum also make sure the light you have is duel spectrum or more on the red side of the light spectrum i hope my info is sound lol but as said above it could be just the light leakage causing the non flowering issue i wouldnt worrie about giving em 2 days of darkness just keep to ya 12/12 and all should be good atb

Thanks a lot that’s great il carry on, I did mean to take that blue film off aha I haven’t used it yet still need to put a plug on it,

It’s a 300w dual so il make sure the red side is facing the plants, I had it 50-50 before
