    Default I'm New!

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to say thanks for having an awesome forum with some outstanding threads for education and general knowledge.

As a smoker I used the threads understand more about what I was smoking and the different types of grows that were possible, time wore on and I began to want to reduce my outgoings and learn hands on.

I got myself a setup and now I am 2 weeks on from germination and I have 2 plants that are just about ready for nutrients.

I'm using a 300w basic CFL kit. In a light airy soil & perlite.

18/6 lighting cycle, planet are in very small 2/3 inch square pots.

I water them with a misting bottle in the morning and water until i see a small amount of water begging to gather at the top of the soil.

I will add photos when I have a chance I just don't want to disturb the environment now that the temperatures are getting where I want them to be but I'm sure there will be some tips or adjustments I could make.
Initially I had a daytime temp of 23.5-26.5 and
    Humidity :30-60%
Night time temperatures drop to 18.7-21 and humid is around 35-45.

Just thought I would fully introduce me and my set up, very new to this so there will be countless faults but that's what we are here for!..

Welcome along mate, I've had some really successful grows with similar equipment to you.

    Biggest tip without seeing the pics is this;

Keep that bulb about 1 to 2 inches, max from the top of the plant, all the way through the grow. If you don't you get stretch in veg and airy buds in flower.

    Good luck mate😁

    Thanks for that man,

I'll add a pic,but I've had them maybe half a foot away since they first sprouted and they have sprouted well, could a problem shifting shell cause a slightly bent leaf?

If the seedling had trouble sheding it's case then it could cause leaves to bend.

Do you know the brand of your soil?

Sometimes if you have prefertilised soil it can take the seedling a few weeks to adjust to the nutrients within the soil. One symptom of that is bent or twisted leaves. It should be anything to worry about but I will confirm that when we see the pics😉

I bought a premix from a hydroponics store that had perlite and it was light and airy so I picked up a 50l bag for £10

u didnt put a photo up yet mate. the easiest way is to download tapatalk and use that to upload pics.

You can't post pics until your post count hits 10, your on 5 at the mo.

The soil should have something in it if it was sold as light mix, I would say nothing to worry about and keep an eye on the new growth.

    Are these photos or autos?
