Bi is secondary muscle to back, tri is to chest.

Ano there's million ways to train but I would think your cramming to much in to each day imo.

45min is plenty time to train takes me about that just doin shoulders alone on monday. So you must be there for 3hours on a mondAy if doing all 3 correctly in one hit?

What are you having for post workout am pre workout?

    Why not try

Monday- shoulders 5 exercises superset them

    Tues- back 5 exercises

Weds- legs this means then your restin your upper body

    Thurs -chest x6

    Fri bi an tri

    Sat - extra legs
I work with a trainer. I spend about hour and a half in the gym. All of my exercises are power sets. I've been training this way for years and it suits me.

I typically sling a sledgehammer or a pick ax for 4-7hours a day before using my machinery at work.. that's my workout

I am sensing some of us take this exercise malarkey a little more serious than others !!
In time the thread will calm down and become a little more informative.

So, after more than a year off I am starting back, doing some lifting 3 days a week and some short HIT cardio maybe twice per week on non lifting days in morning on an empty belly.
I also have a heavy punch bag which I haven't used for years may give it an airing.

Same as most people exercising, hoping to put on a bit of muscle lose some fat and generally look and feel better in myself. Will be cutting back on the carbs (think I may be gluten intolerant anyhow) and eating loads of green veg and berries a little fruit with plenty meat, chicken, fish. My downfall could be alcohol (red wine)

Starting today. No more than 40 mins lifting and 20-30mins cardio each session. Due to my age and injuries I never use a barbell apart from T bar rows.
Will lift every other day and take two consecutive days off whenever I feel I need it but will be lifting 3 times each week.

All sets of 3 - 10 reps down to 7-8 for last set. Add more weight when I can complete 3 x 10. Last set of each exercise I cheat and do half reps just to feel the pump.

    DAY ONE UPPER BODY

Flat bench press (I use an angled football bar)
Rows (T bar, long bar. One end in corner of room other end weighted, pick up and pull)
    Incline dumbbell bench press
    Dumbbell shoulder press
    Straight arm lat pull down
    Biceps and triceps.

    DAY 2 OFF

    DAY 3 LOWER BODY (I can’t squat)

This may not seem like much but I go to absolute failure on last two sets of each exercise.
Trap/shrug bar - Straight Leg Dead Lift
Trap/shrug bar - Squat (dead lift)
    Lunges with dumbells
Abbs : I like Spellcasters with dumbbells but they do tend to hit the shoulders aswell (a bit close to the military press on upper day)

    DAY 4 OFF

After a few months I will have a upper A and upper B and a lower A and lower B, both A and B's will be slightly different exercises but working the same muscles. Will alternate the A & B each session.
