I'll check them out thanks, my hands just don't work like they use too. I normally chop a plant a day at the end, allows more time for trimming. And even the same strains finish on different days.

Ill stick with scissors as the others said mate! Take too much time but it comes as a best product, loot to the best when you want to make something, most commercial growers of top products (except pharmacy companies) are not using these expensive tools to handle their buds.

It's not about speed, it's about the pain and lack of mobility in my hands, I stopped being able to use a screwdriver for more than 2 minutes about 10 years ago. I hAve converted most of my tools to electric.
Spent a lot of years working underground digging tunnels by hand, the profession paid well but took a toll on my body. Took a supervisors position but didn't like the stress so changed to a different profession. Running equipment, carpel tunnel will cause another change, but the next one will be retirement.

I first looked at the trimming machines and see that they really are a waste of product. I will not spend a fortune, might try some diy stuff, came across these and they look promising.

Have you considered dry trimming mate? The plants take a bit longer to dry, but it’ll be much easier on your hands, and you can stage the harvest than too so not so taxing.

Chop the branches off the main stem, and just hang those for a few days. The bigger fan leaves will dry off, and you can remove them. Then after a few more days, the tip leaves will be dry, and you can start removing them.

I hate harvest time, most growers enjoy it. But I hate it lol. Spent far too much Time trimming buds on my own ( 16 hours straight one time) killed my love for it lol.

Much easier to do it over a week imo. And also, it stop chlorophyll getting onto your buds if you trim them dry. It’s seeps out of the leaves when you cut them wet, and it gets onto your buds. The chlorophyll inside the buds can be broken down, but if it’s on the outside from the bleeding leaves, it won’t be. So your smoke will be harsher.

Jesus murphy whats wrong with plain old scissors lol . Ive had to do literal christmas trees before . All by hand lol . The more ya shake and touch those buds up . The less quality in the end scissors all the way .

Get yourself a quality pair of hairdresser scissors . Nice n thin blades with ergonomic handles and they are a charm
