Default Carbon filter effecting air flow

I'm about to purchase a 100mm can style filter. My extracto is a small 4 incher 130m3/h. I know I should have a big bad ass one but Im growing in a 0.6m tent and it's working well. Anyway the question is will the filter kill my air flow?

Yes the filter will decrease the flow quite a bit. If your fan has good static pressure then the reduction will be less. Without endangering yourself, put your hand over the inlet of the fan when its running. If there is a noticeable suction, like a vacuum cleaner, than the static pressure is good

Yeah it's got decent suction when I close the door on the tent the walls suck in negative pressure. well worst case the Temps go up and I'll have to upgrade the extractor thanks!

basically you want 3 times the tent air volume per hour . i use a marshydro 160led for a 4x4 triged by mid room temp at 26.5 celcius . takes about a minute to drop 1.5 deg.
