    Default Nutrition burn?

    Hi
I’m growing in soil that i mixed myself ( regular soil, peat, worm casts )
I used a little root juice in the beginning
I’m growing in a tent using LEDs
And now I’m seeing Brown tips on some plants and one leaf with brown spots
I haven’t used any nutritions yet, I’m planing to use biobizz (grow, bloom and top max)
But is the spots I’m seeing nuteburn maybe from the soil ?and if so when do I start using the nutritions
Sorry I don’t seem to be able to upload photo
Sorry for my English it’s not my native language

Even though you havent used nuits yet, the soil can still be quit strong, and burn your young plants. Give them time they should be ok. Just make sure, your phing your water to 6.5. I know people say you dont have to in soil, but this is the optimum range, you small plants will be happier at the correct ph. Get some pics up though so we can have a look and make sure we have the right diagnosis. Youll need ten posts first though, and the pic will need to be under 2mgb

Yes mate they do. What you should do, is test the ph of your run off aswell, that way, you will have an idea of the ph of the medium. Itll change all the time depending on temps, amount of water it drinks compared to how many nuits are in it. A swing between 6 and 7 should be fine. But yer get those pics up mate, ill be easier to see what the problem is.

Still a newb on this forum but arent brown spots a sign of phosphorous deficiency? I had this during my first grow during the flowering period. Didnt affect the taste of the bud but im pretty sure its phosphorous...still need a pic to correctly diagnose

sounds like your plants got a deficiency imo with browning off of the tips / over watering can cause this btw. atb

Thats right mate yes, but its usually caused by a PH imbalance, or a salt build up, rather than a lack of phosphorous in the medium.
