Default When should roots start going through the netpot in DWC?

Hi. I've got a couple of seedlings, week old, but there is no sign of roots. From the way my seedlings look, they have root problems. I have top feeding set up, really not sure if they are alright or should I do something.

I still cannot upload images, I have to get my posts to 10. Basicly my seedlings have yellow discoloration. Can seedlings get root rot?

Yep, not clones. They sprouted a week ago. Im feeding with lower dosage of hydro nutes than on the bottle, they are in jiffy pellets in netpots surounded by expanded clay pebbles. The water temperature is 81F or 27.5C, so I think that might be an issue. Just put a bottle of water inside a freezer, Ill put it near the reservoir once it freezes

That water temp is way too high. 18-21°C is good for DWC how well established we're the roots before you put them into the net pots?

How much have you been top feeding them and how many times a day?

What's the EC and pH of the feed that you're feeding them?

Have u had a look and seen if roots are coming out the jiffy pellets yet mate ? I usually just use plain water on seedlings until they have established themselves a bit first as seed should contain all the nutes it needs for its first kick in to life. Also don’t drench the jiffy pellet water around the edge of the clay pebbles and get the roots searching out the water. Also 27. 5 is to warm needs to be about 18-21 degrees. You’ll want a chiller if your running dwc that warm.

I haven't looked, I'm too afraid to move anything. I've made a diary, maybe you can drop by if you have an idea on how to decrease the reservoir temperature, because 20 degrees is really low, lower than room temperature, thats kind of shocking to me since I don't usually see anyone talking about cooling their reservoirs.
But Im still wondering, how long does it take for roots to reach the water?
