    Default Cotyledon tip is yellow.

    Hi all growers,

This is my first grow, am using organic soil (alluvium, wood chips, animals dung and plants seeds) all treated with oven and bought ready made, and watering it with natural water from river Nile, temperature is between 38-40c (95-104F) in day and humidity is 7-13% but i keep plant under shade and spray it with water every morning to keep upper layer of soil cold and use evaporation for cooling, in evening i take the plant indoor under temperature 24-27c (75-80F) and humidity 55-60% and under MH light 400 Watts and CFL 80 watts, can't accurately decide PH as i only found cheap Indian made PH test paper but soil and water test are abut 7 PH.

Do you think this will work? i already experiencing yellowing at tips of Cotyledon leaves.

Thanks, and keep your growing hobby.

Was your organic soil properly composed before you used it mate, if looks like the soils hot.
That’s some serious temps in the day there mate lol
You shouldn’t worry about the ph of soil mate tbh
Sorry just see it was prepared in the oven, that means you have no microbial life in there.
I’d stick with water and hope for the best for now

Thanks Redisiel, yeah soil is dry but i watered it after the picture taken, microbial life is rare in arid and dry weather, this strain is brought from southern borders of Chad and Sudan where the weather is little better, if this grow succeeded i will grow original Ethiopian Highland strain next (Shashamane weed).
