    Default Ph problems

Hi all I have about 2weeks left on my grow and I’m gonna start flushing in a few days,I’ve been ph ing my feed all the way through flower with a value of 5.9 to 6.0,now over the weeks I’ve been spotting a bottle of ph 7buffer in the corner of my room but thought I don’t need to use that, the pen is fine,so guess what I did today,I thought I’ll just av a look if my pen measures a 7 ph with that buffer, now this bottle of buffer is about 2 years old so I don’t know how accurate it’s gonna be,but long story short is it measured 7.4, I was thinking if my ph has been that far out all flower,I would have had some sign from the plants but they look awesome,if my ph was out by so much what would the signs have been?

It wouldn’t be point 0.4 out all the way through the scale. It’s nice to have a drift in ph in hydro I’d run mine from 5.6 too 6.2 and it would get to 6.4 before I’d change the res out . I’d prefer not to mess and add ph down and rather wait and change the tank . If you have been running at say 6.3 all the way through some of the nutes would have been more readily available than others. I’d have doubted you would see deficiencies but more chances of over feeding. I’d have to have a look at the chart too tell you what would have been more readily available tho 😃🇬🇧

Not seen signs of overfeed not to dark and not much if any tip burn, the pic I loaded looks a bit dark but that’s only happened in the last week this is a pic a week ago.

Everything looks happy enough, I wouldn't worry

But get the PH issues sorted before you start the next grow...and get a new bottle of PH buffer, one that will be in date!

Good luck with the rest of the grow, not that it looks that you need any luck... nicely nailed down I would say
