I ask this because "I saw on you tube" that e.g. some Californian growers have their plants in raised beds that are a few meters wide, and they grow freaking trees. And as Bud Lightyear said, "more roots, more shoots", so, that makes sense.
So for indoor soil grows in small tents (anything below a 80 cm x 80 cm foot print), assuming light is not a limiting factor, is there a general rule for e.g. a pot volume to tent size, so the plant does not get "too big"? Or would this be something that is more strain dependent? And to what extent will duration of the time spent vegging affect it all?
There are posts on sativas being started on 12/12 so I get that there are multiple factors that affect the overall balance.
