Default Ionic SW Hydro nutrients and Cal-Mag

I’ve got an RO filter and am running an RDWC system with ionic soft water hydro nutrients.

How much cal mag do I put in? On the bottle it has 2 measurements. As far as I can tell it say 1ml/1L to get a plant back on track and 1ml/2L to keep them sweet. This can’t mean much though as it’s not saying what nutrients to use it with and what background EC you are working from.

    has anyone got any experience?

For the first feed I’ve gone with 1ml/2L but that was only last night.

So just by adding 1ml/2l it brought my water up from 0.1 to 0.8 EC, I then added nutrients to 0.9. Before then I was feeding pure tap water. I’ve immediately got nute burn? What am I doing wrong because I’m adding a minimal amount of nutrients?

Not used Ionic version but if it is similar to Plant Magic or Canna’s version of calmag then you’d be looking at raising your tap water to around EC 0.4 before then adding your base nutrient to the desired level.
My EC from tap is 0 and I’d be adding about 6 mls of Canna Calmag to 10 litres to get to EC 0.4.

Iv done exacly what other user has said myself in the past. I do the same with coco aswell. My tap water is like 0.1 ec. So i bring it up to or near to 0.4. Then add base, additives etc.

Try calmag as a foliar spray @ 1ml/1l. Gives your roots less to do, less salt and quicker uptake...
