Yer mate theyre fine man! Looking good, if theyre brown and sludgy, and smell a bit rank, you should worry, but thats a good healthy root ball.

I know that this will have been asked a million times already, but how can you over-water plants in soil, yet they can grow in, well, water?

Is it that over-watering in soil knocks the oxygen out?

The roots need air mate, air cant get through the soil so easy. In water, you have an Airstone, so the roots get a good constant supply of air, and food

There is deffo something going on i canít get them out to clean the space is very limited I just struggle getting air stones out and cleaning them I did chuck some hydrogen peroxide in and Iím running low EC flush at he min so going to let that run through until tomorrow then dump out and fresh in I just double my air stones I put 2 in each pot as I thought boost oxygen levels, whatís best thing to use as cleaner that I can mix with nutes that wonít kill any good bacteria that can help clean the roots up thanks

Can't say I see anything wrong with that? I'm no expert though. Could you be overfeeding perhaps? What's your EC?

Bang on the button there mate yeah the water is constantly oxygenated with air stone so roots donít drown and 15 a 20% of roots are not submerged so they take in air also

If you're ec is 1.8, I reckon they're over feed mate. I good flush should clean up the roots and get the plant looking a bit better. Try reducing the feed to 1.2 and see how they go there. 1.8 is very strong considering the plant has such easy access to food.

Well I will tell you what Iíve been doing so far myself on this,

Yesterday I drain it all out as best I could, I filled with just plain water I ended up with an EC about .3 300ppm ph has been mental way out so Iíve been adjusting it having a hard time I got it to 5.7 last night then this morning this 6.4 put that down to my last min adjusting just settling in, adjusted again today see where that gets me should be around 5.6 at min, but EC has gone up to 1.2 overnight, Iíve prepared a fresh batch of water heating today over night so they will have had clean water or low strength per say, for 48 hours ph has been but I sort of thought that will help the plant used the stored nutes anyhow,

Iím going to give them fresh nutes tomorrow at EC of about 1.2 - 1.4 lil cal mag, silicon, base nutes and bud boost ph at 5.5 5.6,

Today I took out airstones and cleaned the all in boil hot water for half hour and then I put 2 air stones in each pot with roots instead of one, I also added about 150ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide today to help clean them roots all getting drain tomorrow and set right and I will monitor ph from there see if it goes up of down, the whole grow ph has been going up as it should just lately it started a week tops, so what you think mate peace ✌️

Yer over fed mate, the ec an ph is changing, because the plant has more food in it than water. So the food balances itself out, high concentration to low cocentration and all that. Just keep flushing like that, leeching out the food, until it balances steady. I'd say 1.2 is Definetly high enough, and once the plant has leeched some of the food out, it'll be much better.

Coco is hydro mate, but the medium is easier to control. It doesn't fluctuate as much as dwc
