I was looking at the Migro light but was put off a tad by the high price and opted instead to go with the 400W Budtech Vero 29 V7 3000K fixture! A really nice modular design incorporating daisy chain making it easy to add additional fixtures.

Each 200W panel cost me £250 so just £500 for the 400W’s (still a lot of dough!) Saving £300 over Migro made it a no brainer! I wasn’t quite sure about the Luminus cobs on the Migro against the Vero 29 which are pretty well reviewed.
This is my 2nd venture into cob led after running 400W cxb3590’s which I honestly struggled to make any ground on my hps watt for watt harvesting much the same as I would under 400W hps so jury still out for me on led tech.
I’ll report back and confirm on the real draw once i have a chance to hook it up to my meter but they’re each sold as 200W real draw panels.

I like the look of the Migrow 400 to replace a 600HPS.
It is just the price, each 400 would only save you (at a rough guess) £100 a year running flat out. The cost is £835.00 against a HPS say £200 for a good quality hood ballast bulbs.
My figures may be wrong as I Am just guessing but it would take 6 years to break even, money saving wise.
It all boils down to yield quality and weight. If there was a significant improvement then yes go for it.
Maybe on a new start up it is worth thinking about but if you already have your HID setup it would be hard to justify changing.
I note Migrow are offering a 3 year guarantee so its a bit like buying a new motor 3 years maintenance free.
Must admit there website is fantastic and if I were to buy led at this point in time it would be a Migro.
TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT
Latest lighting like the migro are top notch but are a premium ( did I mean rip off)aimed at commercial growing where the price of a gram of weed easily justifies paying the ££££
For us hobbyists, the best way forward for now is the numerous kits available online or just source the components together yourself.
It is just a cob/board, a driver, a heatsink after all.

Hi Ironman, I googled the Migro 100 & your post came up. Im new to forums & I've searched for your reports/grow diary with the Migro 100, but I cant find anything. Im wondering do you have any updates on how it performed?
Im vegging 1 White Widow under a 250w HPS, 11 liter pot (trans into an 18 liter for flowering by next weekend), all BioBizz soil/nutes (22 days today of 35) but Im buying the Migro 100 on Wednesday. I've watched Shane's videos & his honest assessment of grow lights has convinced me to buy one. But I cant find a yield result. Im wondering how did you get on with yours if you flowered with it?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi mate,
I'm 're running the test with the migro as we speak. The genetics I used last time around were very poor.
Here is the new diary, I'll be updating tonight. https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-foru...d.php?t=173763
If you have any questions please dont hesitate, just post in that diary as it's handy for other interested growers.
Welcome to the talk mate😁

Ive just harvested 2 plants under the migro 400 for 180grams of dinafem gorilla , These were both indica doms and the other 4 are sativa doms , They will be done this week ( flushing right now ) They are going to have a massive weight once done ,
pretty confident i will smash 500grams this grow !!
One thing i noticed is that @ full power they should be about 24" to stop light stress on buds ,
