hey guys this is my third grow i have learned alot on the way i have had Hermes EVERY grow now this time i thought i did so well i haven't had single dead leaf or any discolor of any kind plant is so healthy yet i got Hermes again only on a few bottom branches nothing on the tops and only two out of four of the plants so far i just cut of the branches and will pluck off as she grows again my temps are 23 C when on and 16-17 C when off R.H is 45-50% on and 55% off also have huge 20inch box fN BLOWING ON LEVEL 2 SEEMS OT BE MOVING THE PLANTS JUST ENOUGH BUT not ENOUGH FOR WIND BURN, i think i may of got a little bit of heat stress from my light being to close how ever it never made the plant change much leaves on the tops curled the tiniest bit upwards but barley enough to notice almost looks natural, other then that i have a 4 inch Vortex fan pulling through my cool hood and through my charcoal filter on the outside of my tent on the ground ( different from most peoples setups ) i was told it might wear out the filter quicker thats about it?? other then this i have noooooooo idea wtf is going wrong with these grows i know the first i was well over feeding and fucked alot of stuff up and i did my blueberry og last batch and it also hermied on me but i ended up plucking and spraying her for the time and let me tell you the budd was amazing product and had maybe 5 seeds throughout each plant so happy i never cut them down any ideas on what could be wrong here i am also growing in a basement cellar i dont know if that makes for a problem

Just grow autos so you don't need a dark period. I'm sure after a few auto grows you will understand the hobby better and realise where you are going wrong.

    Just a thought. 😁

    Pictures, pictures, pictures.
Did you get mature seeds from your hermies or just seed pods?
I don't know all the strains, are these autos or photos. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be will be along to help.

Are you 100% sure it's balls mate? Have you found seed? Don't rush to think things are balls, different strains do different things. Sometimes, you'll have like an empty seed sack grow, looks just like a male flower, but isn't. Sometimes people get confused with swollen calyx.

Get a pic up of the problem if you can.

If it is hermie, 2x in a row, I'd first wonder about light leaks and disturbed light cycle, maybe your timer is flicking on at some point and off again and you don't know. Heat stres is another one, but yours sounds fine.

Defoliating too much during flower? And genetics.

Let's make sure it 100% hermied first

While he uploads, can I ask a quick q?

With photoperiod plants, does a little light leak actually do that much damage? In nature, you have moonlight, light pollution etc. Surely a "little" light during night time shouldnt cause such a dramatic event? Or am I being naive?

It's is said you can go to the level of a full moon, but best avoided anyway. And the difference is, during the dark hours, that's a constant full moons worth of light. If you enter the room and keep turning the rooms lights on and off, it might only be a little light leak, but it's random, so that might fuck with the plant.

Save any issues and make sure you have 0 light leaks before putting anything in your tent. Stand in there when it set up and ready to go, everything closed and off, wait a few minutes for your eyes to adjust. If you see any light, block it

Anyone really interested in a factual answer to this question should read a book called
What a plant knows by Daniel chamovitz it’ also explains about the way they differentiate colours etc
