A lot of the comps that I do require very little.... my caption comps & the stupid little comps I do often just require you have been a member for 24 hours... Plant & Bud Of The Month only require 10 posts

But the real, 'fun' comps usually require around 500 posts (which isn't hard to achieve) - but often they require a higher level of skill in growing (Hence the post requirements!)
