My last plant was 6.5 dry in a 5 gallon container. ph'd with every feed.

I average 2 oz dy in 2 gallon container ph'd with every feed.

If my water starts at 7.0 and I add a full line of nutes I will have a ph of around 5.0 in the feed. If I dont raise the ph of the feed to 6.3 or there abouts then my leaves change colors and get crusty and plant finishes early and way under weight.

Sounds like you using city water. You can try using rain water, much better. JMO

Which LED did you go for?

Get the MarsHydro and add it to the unbranded one.

I bet the unbranded isn't offering you much more than 100W draw from the wall.

You definitely need to buy an LED (if that's the route you want to go down) from a reputable manufacturer - it's the most important part of the grow.

If they tell you "actual wattage" or words to that effect, that's a good start.

This has been an issue with mine from day 1, PH from the tap is 7.8. Was originally told not to PH water as soil would buffer it (Cann Terra pro). Well it didnt and I had uptake issues. Then about a month ago, Macky told me to PH it to 6.5 (Cheers mate ) and my plants are loving it, buds bulking up nicely as I type so I am all for it too.
