Im carrying out a Main linning. I'm kinda in the beginning but that's why this might be important.
Today i was going through some tutorials and I realized that after the first 2 main colas are divided, the guy on the tutorial page bent em quite a lot.
Should it be done this way? I bent mine too cuz they need to be tied but is this much necessary? Much difference?
When I mainline I try and keep them as straight as possible but it’s not essential. The tips will turn for the light but just keep gently straightening them and moving the ties.
Lower u pull the tops the lower u base will be. Looks good tho, check out my signiture and u will see a pretty good diary for mainlining. Blend what u r using with that and u I’ll be Gucci. My mainlines are my largest producing plants to date.

Thank you all for your replies!
The picture i posted was from a website, not mine. Idk why I wasnt able to upload upload it usung the site but here's a pic of what my plants look like today: https://ibb.co/fvfh0d
What i've done so far is let the plant grow until it got to 6 nodes, then top above the 3rd node. So now I have 2 tips which were the ones i was inquiring about, regarding on how much i should bend.
So, this new tips are to be left growing until they once again reach 6 nodes and repeat the procces? Meaning i once again cut above the 3rd node?
Looking good. You are doing it right. Personally I clip in the same spot but as soon as the two new shoots on the 3rd are slightly formed. I am impatient.
