    Default Flushing...pH adjusted or no?

I think I am possibly due to start flushing the next time I water and just wanted to ask if I pH adjust to 6.0 or not? Growing in coco, one 35L and one 20L pot. Into week 8 flower today. Been reading a lot of material online about decreasing feeds, (I must admit, I have done this the last 2 feeds. Decreased EC from 1.4 to 1.0. Leaves starting to turn yellow now.) but I have also read people adjusting pH for a flush. I thought we were supposed to be aiming for a nute lockout during a flush. This is what too much reading does!!! Slightly confused. Can one of the experts on here clear this up for me please?

Yeah I feel you. Though I’m no expert. I hardly ever flush. I just change to water without nutrients last week/week and a half.
What I do change is I regulate my ph with sodawater and sugar last days. It’s a beliefsystem I start and end with the same ph value, which is always closest to 6.

That sugar isn’t doing your plant any good, but it will feed your microherd wich will push out one last effort. That will do your plant very good. The microherd can make or break down about anyting the plant needs, but they can’t make sugar. The microherd needs sugar and plants deliver their sugar. You can help the plant by delivering a last sugarboost. (If you re-use your soil don’t use too much sugar)

Flushing it out is killing this proces. But all I have said in the above is a personal beliefsystem created by my own experiences. If there are 100 ways to breed, there are even a million more variations.

No ph’ing needed, straight tap water will do you just fine. Your aiming to lock out any nutrients/feed at the rootzone and force the plant to use up its stored feed, leading to a clean smoke come chop.

Be sure your trichomes are at the correct stage using a loupe before you start the flush

Thanks. As always, different growers, different strategies, different opinions. I will start the flush at next water and use florakleen 2 -3 days before harvest. Anyone ever used this product before? Claims to eat the salts in the medium so the plant uses all its reserves within itself. Any good?

Also, my loupe isnt that great for seeing trichs so close. Its a 30x-21mm. Have to use my phones optic zoom behind the loupe to gauge what trichs looks like. Which is a pain in the arse to hold steady let alone focus. Pretty sure 20% have turned amber and 40% milky. But then again, I only have 50-60% red pistills. I will check again later. Reckon its about 10 days till harvest. Day 51 of flower.
