    Default Fans n filters

    Hi everyone

I am currently sourcing all of the equipment for my first setup.
So far, I have only sourced my tent and have stumbled when looking for an extractor fan.
I am looking to grow two plants max to begin with whilst trialling different nutes (probably going to go for organic first up)

Anyway, I wanted to ask will I only need one extractor fan? I know I will probably also need a clip on fan to strengthen the plants but purely speaking of air flow and getting rid of odours, will say a 125mm extractor and carbon filter be good enough? Oh and btw I am looking to run a 600w hps during flowering.

    Thanks 

you didnt state size of the tent, as this determines the size of extractor etc..

One plant would fit that tent nicely, I ya want two, I would suggest a bit bigger tent, or you fall into I always have to upgrade cycle. I have 5 in a 1.2-1.2 tent the tent looked huge for the first 6 weeks. Next grow will be 2 or 3 plants.
More plants do not mean more yield.

A 6" fan may be a better option with a 600w HPS in that space, especially in the summer!

    I'm in a 80x80x190.

Started out with a 4 inch rvk and struggled.

Found more luck with a 6 inch but even that struggles in summer so I use the old 4 inch as intake when temps rise.

If you're drawing fresh from outside you can probably go with a smaller fan but if you're pulling in room temprature you're going to be kept on your toes with 600w.

Think 400 would be more appropriate for the space unless you're using a cool hood but not sure you'll get one to fit in your tent. (Don't bother with the tube shaped ones they're crap)
