Yes rhino are very good and can last years, they do a hobby cheaper version which should be fine idk.

A carbon filter js the most important piece of equipment you will need so not something to be scrimped on.

Same with the fans really. You may find that 4" inline aint gonna cut it with that 600w.

I won't be scrimping on the filter I was just curious if their was any competitors, the 4inch fan i had from a previous grow that never went ahead i will be upgrading to a 6" at some point. Until then I have a dimmable ballast so can drop to 400 or 250 if the temps get too high also the temp of the passive intake will be very cool so im hoping the temps wont be a problem. None the less thanks for the info and happy growing

I upgraded to a rhino pro as i was having an issue with smells with a cheapo carbon filter and have had no issues at all since.Heat's not really a problem with my set up though as i use LED so couldnt advise on that.

Won't go wrong with a Rhino Pro, mate. I've tried cheaper alternatives on previous grows and they're not as effective and definitely don't last. Spend the moolah 😊

I'll look out for your diary...

Sorry to bump this thread, but I am looking to get a rhino with a 4' inline fan myself in the next 2-3 days. Should I be worried about heat temps with this setup in a DS60 with a 300-450 W Viparspectra LED.
