Default Answered: Plant pot plinths/ run off removal

Hello fellow tokers hope all is well

I have looked around the forums trying to find a pin which could answer my questions to no avail.

    So here goes...

How does everyone go about removing run off?

I have thought about maybe building a wooden frame with a net on legs with a tray underneath for easy removal

    Or

A piece of ply with a water proof covering
A slight decline towards the front of the tent into a troff style pot for easier removal

My last idea is similar to my 2nd but to channel the water off to a front corner into a standard pot for even easier removal.?

I have also heard, read and seen of people using plate drying racks and shoe racks etc.

How do you deal with the annoying task of run of removal without destrubing sleeping beauty ?????

Yeah a wet vac would be ideal but I wonna see them contraptions aha

There's just so many other things I would rather put 50 into in my groom.

Surely there's something I can bodge together on site at work...

Got this 12v pump for 3 quid off eBay. It's self priming too so don't need to worry about air etc.

Not quite a wet vac but does the job.

Call me old fashioned but I carry my plants to the bathroom and water them there. 1...by...1. In the bath. No need to get rid of runoff as your drainage will do it for you.
