Default Attic ready - Need advice on how best to use space

    Hi

At last, the attic is nearly done. Old house and the new baby has slowed it all down but it is getting there now.

Have had space insulated and covered in chippy board with electrics being completed this Sunday I am now ready to start buying equipment.

Have taken pics and will try and upload for the first time tonight.

Going to ventilate out of the eves as they are already partially open and I will cut holes for air coming in and going out but need to decide if I should buy the tent or make whole space a growing area.

Want to get everything bought and ready for first growing 3rd week in July after returning from holidays.

Hope as always you guys can help a complete newbie get the correct set up the first time.

    Thanks in advance

Space is 6ft 3 inches high.
    11ft wide
7 ft from front to back.

Hope this makes sense and I will add more photos.

    Hi
    Thanks

So you think whole space as grow room and no tent?

What about a small tent in space for propagating other plants while growing is happening?

I noticed company that will make tents to fit any space before. Was going to look them up as I have to be stealthy and was thinking tent will add extra smell protection.

I think you will find its a very awkward space to work with whatever you decide to do.

You can only really walk down the middle, which is where your plants will need to be.

You will need access round the sides and back which will be all very hunchback of notre dam stylee.

Im very interested to see what you do with it though so do post a link to your diary when you get it going

Insulated well? A bare roof when all your neighbours are piled with snow is a dead giveaway if we get snow again I'd stick a tent in the middle maybe a vegging or propagator on one side and all my nutes etc on the other side. Fan could be bungeed at the apex outside the tent to make use of the space left over

I have no tent and ive no smell at all as long as you use the correct filter and fan systems you wont get any smell.

Personally id make a false wall with a door on it so you have a totally sealed room, obviously wont be sealed when you put holes in the wall for ducting ect but seal that up sorted. I made sure i used kingspan on the roof so heat cant creep though and out....this was tested when we had loads of snow not long ago and even with 4 x 600s plus a gavita running i had no snow melt on the roof
