Default Seedsman Indoor contest: Ogre AUTO FEM.

You may find some copy/paste parts through my 3 diaries but this will only happens on the first stage of germination and maybe till the mid veg. of course this happens only around temp/hum, nutes or light details.

    Lights for veg: 150w+2x55w CFL 6100K 18/6
Lights for bloom: 600w Lumatek HPS 18/6 (lights are off on midday because of summer heat)
Nutrients: A.N. Connoisseur Grow (A&B), A.N. Connoisseur Bloom (A&B), A.N. Cal-Mag extra, A.N. Big Bud, A.N. Bud Candy, G.H. Trichoderma, BactoHemp (after 10th day 0.5ml per L, later i will adjust the recipe per 0.5ml per week based on plant needs. Cal Mag will added once a week. trichoderma and bactohemp only on the beginning and transplant)
Air: 1 floor fan, 1 stand fan, 1 A/C inverter

Well this is the second day of germination, the seed soaked for 24 hours on RO'ed water w. ph 7 on a dark room.
For this contest i will move the seed to the small jiffy pellet as bed medium to sprout. Until the 10th day, no nutes will be added to the water, except if it seems must. The first week Trichoderma and BactoHemp will be added to small doses for root stimulation which may be reused when the jiffy pellet planted inside the pot.

10L pots are going to used from the beginning till the end, filled with soil. Maybe clay pebbles will be used to cover the soil as it found to keep more moist and the plants happier on summer.

The grow room keeps a temperature mainly between 25 (with A/C) and 31 (without A/C) related humidity 48-59%

    Default 1st update

The first watering (25ml due to jiffy pellet medium) included a micro dosage of ¼tsp BactoHemp + ¼tsp G.H. Trichoderma blended with a ph 7 R.O.'ed water. The room temp. goes between 24 to 28C and the humidity 46 to 58%.

its the 5th day now and i removed very carefully not to disturb, some material from the top of the pellet to see whats happening to the seed. It seems that the seed is faced downwards due to bad handling and it took more time to show sprout. Saw some roots that developed and hopefully tomorrow it will start to getting tall!

on 8 day the plant potted w. the jiffy pellet inside a 10L pot filled with plain soil (including 3cm topping of coco for better water distribution and keep the soil humid) and a small addition of Nematodes. Watered with R.O. ph 7

on 11 day the plant have green colour, wide leafs.

    room info:
    R.Temp. 25-26c

Generally the room temp. stays between 22-27c.
The nights, temperature plays around 28-29 to help prevent stretching.

I would like to make a note here. There are signs of Thrips, till now only organic methods used to kill him like cinnamon spray, green soap+alco+water spray and nematodes on the soil. I have killed 2 bugs but its not sure if they are extinguished.

    Default Update

    -Day 25

With 12cm of height and branches reaching 3-4cm, its leaves are looking really good and rounded. Maybe this plant, needs more Cal-Mag than any tried strain. When you rub the main branch you can easily smell some strong, quality aromas.
    The plant fed 1.4± water w. A.N. Connoisseur Grow A+B (0.5ml each) and 0.5ml of A.N. CalMag xtra. PH 6.2 EC 570μS

    -Day 28

Sadly this season the grow room hosts a Thrips infestation which seems really hard to clean but doesn't kill any plant. At least till the end of the summer, willing to try different solutions but at the moment they killed by hand!
Two leaves removed from the base of the plant to promote growth in other parts of the plant. As the medium feeling dry, 500ml of water incl. A.N. Connoisseur Grow A+B (0.25ml each) given to the plant with a PH 6.3 (sorry but no EC was available this time).
Well some serious grow here w. 19.5cm of main branch, biggest branch being 9cm and biggest leave 8cm.

    -Day 30

The colours of the plant looking natural and its not showing any signs of stretch to the light source (just to remind you, CFL 150w 6400k 10cm away) The main branch had its first LST like pinching of the main branch, just under the third set of branches from the top, to develop harder skin, which makes a stronger plant ready to hold weight. You can also help the plant to develop hard skin by using a fan directly to the plants from the first week of their life, just be sure that your plant can handle this air pressure, or help it by securing it's branch movement. Many people loving to use metallic tools like pliers to make more damage to the main stem as the plant develops even harder/fatter branch.

Generally the RT goes from 21c to 23c and RH from 47% to 57%

    Room Temp. 24-28
    Related Hum. 43%-62%
The darkness time has increased by one hour.

    -Day 34

Fed 1.3L R.O.ed water including Connoisseur Grow A+B parts (0.5ml/L. each) PH'ed at 6.2. The lowest set of branches have removed, this plant buildup really fast and it developed a wonderful bushy shape.

    -Day 41

From the beginning of that grow, that strain made me excited, one of the most evenly developed auto strains that i came in touch. 45cm of main stem, it just move into pre- flower stage.

    -Day 42

    Fed 1.3L R.O.ed water inc. Connoisseur Grow A+B parts (1ml/L each) + Bud Candy (0.5ml/L) reading 785μS and PH'ed 6.2

    -Day 45

Some small leaves removed from the plant, as they being in bad luck from Thrips bites, thankfully they been on the lower site of the plant. Also a set of branches removed from the lower part to promote bigger buds on richest stems.
