    Default automated Temp humidity Controller

    Hi all,

with the summer months coming in the uk can anyone recommend a good temperature/humidity control sensor. I work long 12 our days and found last year that sometimes when I came home my grow box would be in the high 30s with humidity taking a dive. I am looking at getting a control unit so that when the temps rise it will automatically exhaust the hot air then switch off when temps are good, this will be the same for humidity. I have seen a few on fleebay but would like to know if anyone has and first hand experience.

    Thanks for any advice

Need yourself a good fan controller. Humidity is indirectly controlled this way but you need humidistats with de/humidifiers if you want really stable RH. I don't worry too much about RH until late in flower

    Good fan controllers

    Smscom hybrid pro
    Ecotechnics

Can get cheaper ones depending on your budget.

I just brought an ecotechnics fan controller and it’s doing a great job so far.

Inkbird makes a nice little unit that has separate controls for humidity and temperature. great price point as well, I have one paired with a fan controller in a drying tent

If money isn’t an issue I would invest in an opticlimate.
You just put in the values in a computer and everything is done for you.
It also has an airco in it. It just keeps the conditions perfect and you’ll never have any VPD problems.

a little tricky getting it set up, it can be set to turn either on or off for running an air conditioner or heater, as well as on or off to run a humidifier or dehumidifier at preset high or low values. it does exactly what I need it to do for my application. I'm happy with it, especially for the price.
