It’s a proven method for watering and has worked for millions of years. If you are trying to replicate nature. Surely rain water is a must. Reds where is ya ����

How are you brother green
I’d say rain rain water is perfect but you know me mate I have my fears it’s adulterated the minute it touches the ground or even the shit there spraying in the sky but given the chance I’d be using all day long.
I’m not sure about these soils here though in the small pots where your having to feed regular and the microbes if any will get a chance to buffer the rain water and shit, it’s different for me being in the raised bed I think If it’s lacking anything soil will provide it as long as it’s a quality.

It would be more trouble than it’s worth for you tbh macky. Had you amended your soil before hand it may have worked but the trouble you’ve got is your using off the shelf soil. Yes the tropic does already contain the traces needed but not for long. Once the plants have used what the soil has you’d need to add the traces your waters lacking wether that’s via plenty of feed or using a cal mag additive which isn’t organic...

You could always top dress I suppose but there’s no guarantee in that.
