loose/passive activated carbon in grow space

im looking at maximising the use of my space as well as being over the top in preparedness and was wondering, would something like a few pairs of tights filled with activated carbon hanging in my grow space do anything to help neutralise smells, or will it be about as noticeable as a fart in a hurricane without an actual fan to force air through it? I've already got a carbon scrubber, just not really sure how badly the smell is going to hit with my current grow and would rather be prepared and go OTT in advance (while being on a horrendously tight budget )

I doubt this will work

There should be no need if you have the correct carbon filter and fan size for your space. Your filter and negative pressure will remove any unwanted smells.

unless air is passed threw them it's not gonna make any noticeable difference,
as Blue said negative pressure and a carbon filter will remove the smell,
