Nutrient combination causing ph spike -DWC
Gday all,
Ive been having a bit of an issue with ph.
Just recently sprouted a nitro lemon seed in a rapid rooter ( DWC).
Gave only ph'd water for the first 10 days then filled res with half the recomended nutes for seedling. The res is 8ltrs.
The nutes were advanced nutes grow/micro/bloom. I also added minimal amounts of great white (mycorrhizae) for root protection and general hydro Armour si.
Im getting huge ph fluctuations from 5.5 after i adjust in the morning to a max of 8.1 10hrs later.
I will be changing res tomorrow and will not ad both the great white and armour si on this res to try and see which one of these may be the problem.
Seedling is currently working on second set of leaves. 18/6 light scheduale.
Setup:
Water farm dwc
1.2mx1.2m tent
Exaust fan 4inch
Small fan for circualtion
Vapar spectra 600w led
Heat pad for warmth ( in corner of tent)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I will update any findings after next res change.
Cheers
Fabsy
