    Default Plant split in half

Hey guys, I just recently got back into growing and I had a mishap with one of my plants today.

I was attempting to tie the limbs down to get some light to the lower limbs and apparently did it all to tight and the plant split right down the middle. The split is where it was topped, in between the two limbs and about 3/4-1 inch of a split. I took some small twine and cinched it back together.

Is it done? The cycle on this plant says 56 day flower and it's about day 43 of flower. Should I cut my losses and start the flush or will it hold out for 13 more days as is? Everything I've read says it "should" be fine but in all of those situations the plant was not yet flowering and I think it has a better chance to recover in that stage. This deep into flower, I'm not sure what the chances are.

    Thoughts?

It will most likely be OK from what you say... and, if it isn't, will show signs fairly rapidly so hang in with her for a bit

    Thanks!

I'm going to monitor her pretty closely and if I see anything abnormal I'll start the flush. I'd hate to start early since she's already small and I'd like to get as much out of her as I can.

    Lessons learned I guess.

surprised you left tying it down that late into flower,
i've snapped a few myself whilst Lst'ing - bio-silicone makes them as stiff as a snooker cue,

hopefully she makes it another 2 weeks,

I started the LST about a month or so into veg and since they've been in flower I've made adjustments to get more light coverage as I felt necessary. Today I noticed 2 limbs on one side were kinda shaded and wanted to move the limb above it to get better coverage.

In the future I won't do any tying past a few weeks into flower just to be safe and I'll instead adjust the lights if possible.

have you checked on her since she snapped?
if the snap is bad parts will be wilting already,

It happened literally 20 minutes before I made the OP, so almost 2 hours ago now. I have checked it like 3 times though (lol) and so far there isn't any noticeable change. I have about 2 hours until the lights go out so I'll give it a final check today when I close up the tent.

I go to work tomorrow before the lights come on though, so I won't be able to tell how she is doing until I get off that evening. I'll continue to update with her progress though.

Today I'm not really sure how she is. There's no change in leaves, but the buds seem droopy. I'm not sure if it's because I had to remove the LST due to the split and they haven't straightened up though. I'll keep watching her for any progression.

if the split was really bad they would have wilted already,
lets just hope they make it to the finishing line mate,
