    Unhappy help a noob!

hello there. first time grower here. planted my seeds 2 weeks ago and they look rather shit with one of the plants leaves majorly drooping (the one in the orange pot looks decidedly worse despite being bigger than the green). the strain is skunk #1. planted directly into the growing medium which i now realise was a mistake. could someone identify what i'm doing wrong? using 4 cfls per plant at around 150-200w. watering daily when the soil on top is dry. haven't started giving it nutrients yet. please help so my retarded babies don't die! many thanks x

what exactly is the medium? is it soil? don't say it's miracle grow soil,
also how far away are these lights and are you sure there the correct light spectrum?

nah its just regular soil from my local garden centre. i moved the lights from about 3-4 inches above them to around 7 inches today and i have one powerful 6500k cfl along with 3 less powerful 2800k cfls per plant.

    is this soil fertilized though?

looks like a bit of heat stress and over watered slightly,
pictures aren't the best so rather hard to tell,

but don't look that bad mate,

when watering such young plants it's best to poor the water around the edge rather than directly next to the plants
this makes the roots grow better since they search out the water rather than being directly soaked and not seeking/spreading out

how much water a day? is the pot when lifted light or heavy?
at this age they should only need watered a few times a week,

Are these plants getting enough air? Are you using a fan to move the air around and bringing in fresh air? They don't look all that bad. Kinda look like they were kept in a closed tent with no intake or exhaust.

pls excuse autocorrect. i am high of course.

Also soil looks like it might be to heavy and compacted. The roots need air as well which is why we like a light airy soil with lots of perlite. As others have said.... more info on the soil please.

pls excuse autocorrect. i am high of course.
