Thanks bud. I don't actually see a website on your link (not sure if there's suppose to be one?) but I can google them regardless no worries! Not sure if we get that brand in the UK, it seems to be Hydro Mars is the UK equivalent. Ive got the 300W but was a bit more expensive than that one, they seem like a real bargain!

I would think that all the company's sell them, because they are the one's that are made with noname on them. They must get them at much lower prices, so they can sell for less. Some of them are made like the one I have, just plug in, and she comes on, no veg off on switch, like you would pay a little more money for, but still the same LED's.

    I'm using a couple of Roleadro 400W (Actual draw: 200W +/-5%) COBs.

The first one I bought was just £77 (Amazon) and was, frankly, a bargain for a one plant grow. (the second was a tenner more but they seem quite scarce online at the mo)

    Mine are now daisy-chained together.

There isn't a great deal of info about them online, but all I was looking for was the best "Actual Wattage" to the £.

I cannot claim that together they are equivalent to a 400W MH/HPS (I'm certain they're not), but in terms of Watt per £, it's highly satisfactory and the after-sales is sound, too.

They do chuck off a bit of heat, too. (not always a bad thing)

Right now, lights off, my tent temp would be 20C (ambient temp is 20C) - but with lights on and no extraction, my temps would be 35C+.

    So circa £160, 400W draw.

The above post is based on "LED as a necessity".

I have no doubts that MH/HPS is better.
