Default Help for 1st time grower with autoflowers and Biobizz nutrients.

    Hi all,

Need some advice as this is my 1st grow, for years I've talked about growing and my daughter forced my hand by buying me a grow set up last Christmas. She bought me the following:

    Big Buddha Blue Cheese Automatic
    2 x 3 gallon/11.6lt smart pots
    Biobizz Light Mix Soil
    Biobizz Root Juice
    Biobizz Grow
    Biobizz Bloom

After too many hours researching online I just watered the soil in the smart pots until it started to run out. I left them for 36 hours and then placed the seeds in 6mm holes, covered with soil, bottle tops placed over them. This was done Monday afternoon just gone and they broke surface Thursday afternoon, pictures below taken Saturday.

My question is that I have only used tap water that has been left for 48 hours in an open bucket, but was wondering when I should start using the Root Juice, Grow and Bloom? So many conflicting views out there but I would like to use what I've been bought.

Current height of the plants is about 1.5cm each.

    Many thanks in advance.

your in a soil that's already fertilized so feeding doesn't need to be done for 2-4 weeks,
too much food will only slow the growth at such an early stage,

Grow - used for vegetation stage, you will use this but not until the plants are established
bloom - used for flowering growth, not needed until they produce buds
root juice - again isn't used until they are established,

in soil less is often more, best of luck with ya autos

Many thanks for the information MonsterEnergy, I find I'm fussing over them more than I did when my own children were young, just waiting to be asked why they can't go out to play or have mobile phones, the plants that is !

At what point would you say the plants are established?, again so many different views out there, I just want to keep this grow simple, organic and easy. Again thanks in advance for any information.

I would hold off on any food until the plants are at least this size- Click image for larger version.

The soil has more than enough nutrients in it to do them while they are small. Adding any will slow them , and could burn their leaves.

Thank you for the photo, always easier when you can visualise what the plant should be like, speaks more than a thousand words.

Your plant will also tell you when it needs feeding, if the leaves start to look paler then it's time to introduce some Nitrogen into the soil to replace what's they've already taken out.

You could start with something like Rhizotonic at 0.5ml per L to help the roots but that entirely up to you.
