Default Advice for 1st watering as pot is nearly dry.

Advice for its 1st watering as it's nearly dry, lighter than when initially watered before planting seeds. They are both Big Buddha Blue Cheese Automatic, they were planted last Monday and broke the soil surface last Thursday so are 5 days old. I'm using Biobizz Light Mix in a Smart Pot 3 gallon/11.7 litres, with tap water that has been left in an open bucket outside for 24+ hours. Read various information from watering until run off, to 2 litres of water because of container size, I'd appreciate any advice as had very useful information on a previous posting. Kind regards in advance.

Don’t drench the pot mate. Just a circle around the stem. (Not to close to the stem) get them roots searching. In soil you want a wet to dry cycle. Lift the pot to feel if light. Then you know you are good to water again. If it were me I wouldn’t put 2L through at this stage.

300ml is more than enough water ''1/2 a pint''

roots need oxygen just as much as they need water, soaking it to runoff would suffocate them at such a young age,
less water but watering more often is the best approach until they get established,

then you can soak them without worry

Much appreciated advice millwall115 and MonsterEnergy, I'll use 300ml of water around their stems.

    Hey guys!
New to the forum and looking through some posts here. New to growing so plenty to learn.
Been spraying lightly around the base of the seedling. Theyre just 4 days old now, but not putting down more than 50mls I reckon. Too little?
Probably spray twice may three times a day. Growing autos so put them straight into 5 gal pots.
Everything seems to be ok apart from they look a little light in colour, a yellowy green rather than deep green
