Default repotting smart pot in 4 weeks flower?

So I'm in 4 weeks flower and was wondering would transplanting smart pots stress my girls out to much?
I'm in coco with 3 gallon smart pots planted from seed been LST and because they were LST,Topped then maybe i should have gave gave the roots more room or maybe this isn't necessary? I feel there stunted and slowed down and was hoping I could transplanrt them into 5 gallons with out stressing them out to much.

or would it be better for the plant now if I just double pot the plant meaning putting the 3 gallon smart pot straight inside the 5 gallon?

why would you repot now? root growth this far into flower is very very slow,
so that new space wouldn't fill with roots,

it's best to repot b4 you go into flower so they get a chance to fill the medium

I have repotted this late in flower when my plant looked like it was being choked from too small a container and it did help significantly. As long as you are very gentle it should not shock it. I cut the smart pot away very carefully as to not disturb the roots. If you think it might help then I would go for it. Worst case scenario, she stalls for a week or two and then returns to growing.

pls excuse autocorrect. i am high of course.

when the stretch ends so does most growth this includes root growth, they continue to grow but at a greatly reduced rate,
repotting can cause the plant to start growing roots during flower and will stall them...

it's always better to do it before flower or on the day you flip, the roots explode during stretch so this way the space is optimized,

monsters on the money here after the stretch roots hardly grow at all !! its within the first 3 weeks flipped the roots go daft trying to fill out the pot,its why i always flip leaving room in the pots for root development prior to flipping the buggers the plants always reward me for leaving some room for root development after flip............... ye summit like that honest to fuk.

I agree 100%. But it is too late for that. If the pot is too small it can help to pot up. Just my humble opinion and personal experience.

3 gallons isn't to small for coco just feed multiple times each day and don't let them dry out. I grow very big plants in 8 litre pots.

IMO you would be crazy to repot now especially when you don't need to!

TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT
