    Default Am I overly worrying?

The girls have been on about 300ml of plain water every 24 hours for the last three days, usually about 1pm each day when their stems start bending. They're getting virtually all the direct sunlight they can, roughly from 6am to 8pm, every couple of hours I'll turn them with their first true leaves directly pointing towards the sun. One's 12 days on from breaking surface and is about 10 cm tall, the other 11 days on from breaking surface and too 10 cm tall. Am I ok to keep turning both plants as they seem to have a slight tilt, although they both look healthy? I might be over anxious , any advice welcome.

Everything looks totally fine to me. If anything, i would leave them to it for now. They know what they are doing.

they instinctively lean towards the light hence it bending,
get a small fan on them, that will thicken the stem and make them stronger if it's an option

mimicking wind is always a good idea

I think they are outside, so a fan may not be feasible. I actually didnt use a fan with my seedlings-i read that simply giving the pot a little shake a couple of times a day and brushing your hand lightly across them does a similar thing to strengthen the stems. Dont know if it's true, but i had no issues. Maybe move them so they get a bit more of a breeze?

looking at the pictures above they don't appear to be outside though,
having a small fan giving them a slight breeze 24/7 isn't the same as you shacking them a few times a day,

for me i like to thicken/strengthen them up asap, using a fan is one of the easiest ways
mimicking wind is always a good idea,

but if u prefer not to that's cool

You can always go the tried and true route and tie her to a stake to straighten that there stem

If you can't get a fan on them, just finger-tap them lightly from side-to-side a few times a day. That'll also strengthen their stems.

    Hi MonsterEnergy,

Photographs were taken when they'd been put in the greenhouse for the nighttime, they are outside the rest of the time with a nice South Westerly wind on them, I think I was over worrying as they're nice and straight again, thanks for the advice yet again.

    Over mothering usually becomes smothering
Just relax, they will be fine.
