Default 6 inch without earth wire?

Now I’m no electrician so excuse me if this is an obvious question but I rigged up my 4 inch intake into my ecotechnics but due to the heat I’m thinking of sticking my spare 6 inch fan on instead, question is will it require me to connect the earth wire??? As the 4 inch doesn’t require one so i have no earth wire rigged into the box....many thanks

Have you seen the 'wiring' that some people do mate, twisted wires and masking tape comes to mind

Also rating plate inc. that symbol are usually on a label which has gone long ago on some equipment...

    Just saying lol

Always best to earth and bond as much as you can.

BTW my plastic cased ruck canfan has a metal impeller so wouldn't want to touch that with no earth.

Totally agree, it might save your life one day...

Haha, wouldn't want to touch any impeller, metal or plastic. Been bitten a few times
