Self build Wilma!

Anyone know the best way to make a Wilma system!

Looking at using 5 x 25 ltr pots and ideally a 150 ltr reservoir for them to sit on!

I need some good places to look for instructions and also best place to buy a reservoir about 1 x 1 Mtr Sq

Any tips and help would be appreciated

just swap the cubes for pots, but by the time you buy lower rez tray, top tray, tubing pumps etc etc
you'll see why most just buy them

Do you grow in Wilma? I do coco and wanted to take the next step and potentially modify it further in a year or so to a DWC like pinkman has!

Where would you get a reservoir from? I am struggling to find one

It’s like £200+ for a 5 plant Wilma and I have read that it would cost less than half that if I made my own so I am toying with that idea atm!

just google 'wilma system spare parts' but again it costs more to buy them individually,

the Wilma 4 XL 18L is £123 to buy, the bottom rez tray to buy is £40, so is the top tray,
that's just the trays, the delivery system is only £8 but the pump is £30 then you need the pots drippers etc

does work out more expensive, dwc or flood'n drain is cheaper

DWC, NFT and F+D just seem a little more technical and seem to take up more space I will do a little more research and have a read over some diaries again before I commit got a few week left before I need to decide

I'd suggest you buy a Wilma and just mod it to how you want it...

Check out some of my diaries. I started growing in a Wilma then modded it, then moved onto a Wilma 8 and further modded that to DWC
