Question Curing might be an issue thanks to my mother-in-law. What would you do? Help please!

    Hi all,

I need some advice from you clever people please.

My two favourite (Skunk No1) girls are due for the cop on Monday morning. I have my drying set up ready to rock so no problem there. The issue comes in when I am due to go abroad to pay my annual visit to the mother-in-law. My sentence starts on the Sunday (6 days after chop) and I'm released from captivity 11 days later.

So riddle me this, Batman... how to I cure the bud from day 6 to day 17? I'll need to release moisture to prevent mould etc. I'm terrified of coming back to bottles of white mould.

Any advice would be mucho appreciated! (BTW not going isn't an option!)

    FF

Fuck, I’d say it was just best to leave them hanging mate, you can’t lock them in jars that early, and can’t jar them after six days of drying either, start the cure when you get home and just leave them hanging in the tent in the dark

Cheers mate. Might be the only option.

In this heat though? They are going to be very dry by the time I get back.

Doesn't this damage the weed though? Although that said, many many moons ago (like 20 years ago) I used to do this when I had procured a surplus, I would vacuum seal and freeze and I never noticed any difference in the end result.
Maybe we worry too much about the finer details of this hobby and forget to enjoy it?

Mmmm... this dog might hunt, Mr Energy! What about trimming. Is there some way I can do it to keep her from drying out too quickly? I'll be drying for about double the time I usually do and it's pretty hot where I am atm.

i find dried erb goes a bit rubberry after vac sealing/freezing but it also grinds a lot better i found and obviously using straight from bag any broken trichs are in same bag so theres no loss i could see.,mates said they preferred it that way n all.
