    Default Excessive heat stroke

Hi guys. First post and newbie to all this.
So I've been growing my plants for 2 months now. My friend came around who is a seasoned grower and recommended me buying a HPS 600watt light due to a higher yield at the end. So I went out and bought one
Set it up this morning. Left it for 3 hours, set up probably around 15 inches above the plants
Come back from a morning at the gym and swimming to find the plants suffering with major heat stroke and the room at a scorching 57 degrees!
Is there any way to reseverse this. I had 4 plants and 3 of them look awful. I've googled seaweed extract and aspirin?
    Thankyou

more light = more heat > needs better extraction,

get the environment back to normal and hope they survive,
if the pots/medium were still moist they might just survive

but 57c is lethal temperature, i take it you have no extraction?

I'll upload pics when I figure out how to. Yes I'm running a 4" extraction with carbon filter and a 4" fresh air inlet. The rooms a insulated room inside the attic. I was growing with 600watt led prior and temp was at a stable 32 degrees

4'' won't work with 600w hid though, ud struggle using a 5'' at 100% power tbh
in the attic the problem is magnified, insulated space only adds to the problem - you might wanna put back the led

just upload the pictures to tinypic.com and share the link here, it's the easiest way

I use a 5" with a fan controller for a 250w HPS & with these outside temps it would be running full pelt...

Thankyou monster. Yeah it definetly struggled. I will definetly go back to LED. Hopefully if not I'll have to get a fresh batch of clones and start again I only built the room to hold maybe 6 plants tops
I'll give a go now. Thankyou

Oh really? I originally bought the 4" just because I would be running a led. However the only reason I tried different was purely out of listening to advice. 2hich ultimately left me with plants looking like they've been in an oven
