Yeah i definitely wont be using it again until i have or until the winter most likely. Both my inlet and outlet and 100 metres cubed jobbies so couldn't suck a fart out of the room. I'm considering on purchasing a 5" inline extractor with a max of 330 and since the room is being fed from my bathroom, upgrading the extractor to a 6" 210 unit. Does anyone think this would suffice in lowering temps? I'll also maybe remove the carbon filter for now as it vents out the chimney well above anyway
    Cheers

I know bud ridiculous isn't it. Its only a small room and it was rather warm yesterday so I'm not surprised. Just gutted that 3/4 of my crop was basically cooked before i could have enjoyed a well earnt smoke of the fruits of my labor

Ahhhhhhh, dont worry about it mate. We all live and learn. This is probably one of the hottest summers we've had in the past 20 or so years so your temps can be excused. If its like this next year, or worse, I probably wont be running a grow. Or I'll use LED's, if i have the funds.

By now there are enough completed grow diaries that prove led is a great choice for growing. Unfortunately they are commonly used by newer growers and some of the poorer crops have nothing to do with lighting but learning to grow. The trend is to replace the light on the second grow leading to a better crop.

The biggest issue is to have enough light for a given area. I see a lot of recommendations for this light or that light, but see very little mention to target wattage per square foot or meter.
Seeing a review on a blog or watching some YouTube videos will never replace scientific data.
At a certain point you can have too much light and can do harm unless other measures are used.
We all want that perfect grow, biggest buds, and flawless execution.
I tend to look for expandability, and ability to reconfigure
LEDs give me that choice. I would rather have 4@300w than 1@1200w.

Quantum boards do look like a great balance of light spread, wattage, temperature, flexibility. Long term costs and electricity usage can also be factored in.
