Default Yellow and burnt tips on my plants

    Hi im a new grower,

This is my first attempt. I've had my plants vegging and just re-potted into new soil (canna pro plus). They've suddenly changed yellow with red tips.

My soil ph is 6.5 and i've got a moisture meter so im pretty sure i haven't been underwatering or overwatering.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks Sophie

Burnt tips usually means too much nutrients. The soil was probably a bit too hot. can you post a couple of pics?

It needs food. What nutrients do you have?

    Sorted the pics for you.😁

I'm puzzled because with the repot you should have plenty of nutes in the new soil.

Looks like a PH issue to me but I can't be 100% sure though.

Have you used any bat Mix or guano?

Magnesium deficiency and could be slight potassium deficiency because of the red edges, what’s are you feeding it?

The two plants were in 2x5L pots with normal garden compost(from the garden centre). But i re-potted them in fabric containers with 25% perlite and 75% canna pro plus.

I know this may be stupid question but does canna pro plus have nutes already mixed in? or do i need to add them?

i have a biobizz trypack which i haven't used yet, do you think i should start using it?

    Thanks Sophie

That's your issue there. The Canna is pre loaded with nutrients.

Because you've gone from a standard soil to a fertilised soil the plant is having a strop.

Just water for now with plenty of run off.

If you have any molasses then that may be of help.

In the bio bizz pack is there any alg a mic?

    Thank you so much

I was tempted to add nutes, glad I didn't now.

I don't think so it's just the starter pack.

Yeah just flush a bit of water through it-should be fine in a few days.

How long they been in the new soil?

Normally plants thrive when they go into new CTPP. It's a little hot (EC 1.3) but I've started seedlings in there with no issues

I'm leaning to pH issue too

You say your soil pH is 6.5? What method are you using to check? Canna set it at 6.0 BTW

100% sure this is soil? This looks like N deficiency and possibly some root issues to me. This is not sonething that usually happens at this stage in fresh soil.

pls excuse autocorrect. i am high of course.
