    Default Green light

How safe will it be to have a green bulb in the room for lights off maintenance, prob be in there an hour at a time,I know that green light doesn’t affect plants, but I’ve seen a normal bulb on eBay with a green coating,or would I need a green led bulb?

Get an actual green bubble mate, not a a painted one, green lights isn’t absorbed by the plants, so it’s pretty much still night time to them. Just make sure no light leaks occur when entering and leaving the groom

whats a green bubble mate?also I read today that plants can deal with a good few flashes of light a day, they quoted lightning strikes and even said that there is an led that is programmed to flash the lights on to mimic outdoor conditions IE lightning,I know I couldn’t believe it either.

Gardro, I stand corrected, after that post I did some reading and it seems not a good idea

And also this quote by Epic Gardener, Kevin Espiritu

'It should be pointed out that green light actually penetrates deeper into the leaf interior than red light and can drive photosynthesis more efficiently. This is because the top layer of the chloroplasts that contains chlorophyll becomes saturated while green and yellow can penetrate deeper into leaf tissue and be reflected around until absorbed by another chloroplast containing chlorophyll or by an accessory pigment.'

Shiiiit, I’ve always read green and yellow are useless to the plant, green more than yellow, but still, I’ll look further into this and yes bulb, not bubble, but auto correct got me
