    Default Quantum Boards?

    Hey dudes,
Been geeking on quantum boards lately, and I noticed all of them come with a 120V input.
I was wondering if I could take the 120V cable and just switch it to a 220V cable to fit my socket with out fucking up any of the components?
Also if you guys could recommend a 260w set for veg and flower? Kinda lost myself there
    Thanks!

Dont put 220 in to 120 equipment

Stepdown (site) transformer is what you need...

Assuming its AC requirement, unless its multi voltage

FFS, I even confused myself there.........

There different requirements for some Quantum boards...

Is the one youre after AC or DC ? If DC it will require driver

Is it multi voltage, i.e. some run 90v to 270v so any voltage in that range is ok

There’s some good information on here somewhere about building a full quantum board. Shows full list of components etc etc just can’t think where it was 😃🇬🇧

All LEDS run off DC and require a driver

Meanwell are the standard issue nowadays and will accept

    90Vac to 305Vac

    (Or

127Vdc to 431Vdc if you have some HVDC lol ). Just check your spec sheet before plugging in

Have a good look at the HLG300v2 and then use that as your basis for selecting kit

So yes you can feed from 110 or 220v - assume your in US?

Thanks guys, a lot of useful info right there.
Yeah I'll be using one with a driver so I guess swapping the cable from us plug to eu is cool.
What about the spectrum? I'm looking for one both for flowering and vegging.
Red that 3000k is da shit for both?

Yeah 3000K in the latest v2 boards based on lm301b

    3500k is marginally better in v1 lm561c

Sorry forgot to specify that I'm getting 2x 304 QBS to add up to 250w.
But holy shit are the 3500k are hard to find...
