Medium is canna coco and I had been using the A&B bottle feed initially which has npk of 5-5-5.
Tried mixing my own solution with liquid phosphate, potassium and powdered nitrogen, all in a small quantity a few weeks ago but the plants haven't responded well and I've flushed the mediums out since.
My ph pen reads over 7.0 for all 3 of my 8L pots but I've been watering with acidified water (5.5 - 6.0) when the plants are dry every few days.
No feed added the last couple of weeks as one of the plants was showing sign of nutrient burn. Said plant has since shown signs of recovery where the other 2 have not.
Many thanks

You need to water these plants to run off every other day. Your water/feed needs to be made up of your base nutrients A and B at quater strength ph,d to 5.8.
Leave out the homemade solution and acified water it’s doing your plants no good. There hungry and need a regular feed of npk and trace elements which are all in your bottle of base nutrients.

So they're bigger now bit still showing problems. One had yellow spots on some of the leaves, is this a fungal infection? I have removed any leaves that I could see with symptoms of this and have been watering every 3/4 days with a small amount of feed added. The tap water I use is naturally alkaline and the ph seems to be inconsistent after I have lowered it to 6.0 - I get different readings most times I stir it up , and the run off reads around 7.5. I have purchased a ph meter purely for water and am hoping it will be more reliable than the one I am currently using
Cheers
