so im going through my shopping list for my first grow in coco ,

    on the list is humidifier

im gonna be using 1.2x1.2 tent=coco grow
so im pretty sure im gonna need a hum unit ,

iv have 0 experience with humidifiers...

    i seen a ProBreeze 3.8Litre for 30...is that a good choice ??

what should i be looking for when choosing a humidifier unit ??

thank you for all the information

Personally ive never needed a humidifier as once the plants get to around 1 month old they push out tons of humidity themselves ,

I find a air conditioner or dehumidifier almost essential to keep humidity under 80%

iv just read that you can hang a wet towel over a bowl to increase humidity...
i think il concentrate more on buying a Dehumidifier seems like i will need one of those more than a humidifier

    thanks

forget wet towels etc, juts buy 5litre humifier bigger the better = less filling them.

i read that some humidifiers are bad at how they release the water into air and they can 'cause' rot
iv narrowed it down to these 2...

    Pro Breeze 3.8L ultrasonic 30 (amazon...4.5 stars outta 5) 90 reviews

    Puremate 5L 40 (amazon...4 stars outta 5) 30 reviews

im creeping towards the Puremate 5L
but the first one has more/higher reviews

but they all do more or less the same thing,
i just dont wanna buy one that is shit

i cant buy anything with lower than 4 stars, its aginst my religion.

thats what a humidifer is designed to do mate, which is perfect for veg stage, then we remove it come flower an replace with a Dehumidifier once Rh gets to high

    I wouldn’t waste your money.

Tents are terrible for low humidity in the early stages when used with hid lighting
Small humidifiers raise it a few %.

I find using domes on the pots the best thing for giving humidity.
I’ve tried all the other “wet towel” etc nothing really works.
As said once you have some foliage the humidity will rise in turn.

agreed , I always find once full veg is on the go that humidity will rise itself nicely , Especially if your intake / extractor run through a controler
