    So if I buy a green quebe 1.2 X 1.2 X 2 as the tent.

Then buy a 600w hps light?

Rhino pro filter and the 6 inch fan ?
    Sound good to me 😀

I've not priced them up but it's shouldn't be far off

That should see you right for upto 600 grams of bud

Could work. I just worry that if your using 600w hps/MH lighting you going to need bigger, louder extraction set up.

    Could you vent into loft?
I just assumed and this may sound stupid apologies that I could have it lying on the floor with the window open and it will just excape rather than actually having it out the window.

Loft is out the question but there is an air vent I can smash out from the inside that will have brick work holes like a grid from the outside?

    Thanks for your help.

    Decent. 600

I'm going to check prices now thanks

Is there any type of hps light you'd recommend or just get any 600w one and also I'd need to buy a reflector for this as well right ?

We all started off complete newbie's mate don't worry.

That air brick sounds like the best bet to get rid of heat. Need to rid of that with hps/MH lighting.

You can just use air from outside the tent as in take. Just open the window now and again for fresh air

If it was me I'd get dual spectrum hps with a reflector. Get a dimmable ballast if you can afford it.

Then you can not use as much power when plants young. Or you can use like 400w if you think 600w is to costly

I have been leaning towards the hps but with what your telling me to eliminate that what would I have to do with a led set up ?

I'd buy an led light which would be more expensive but all I'd need would be the fan and rhino filter ?

    I've got is a 100w led in a small tent. 50x50x160.

I fire the warm air out with carbon filter through ducting out of door in another room really. But I bring fresh air in through an air brick. The air brick is at the bottom of the tent.

I used this system for hps but only 250w. Tried 400w but temps were crazy. I struggled with 250w hps.

I used 700w led. Real power of the led was 380w that was with 4 plants.

The cheapest best led I was looking at for you was £300!

600w dimmable ballast, reflector dual spectrum bulb HP's was £95.

If you can not get rid of heat properly LEDs are the way to go

    Thanks Ben.

I'm thinking I might struggle with the heat.

just so I'm on the right page say I get a 900w/1000w led light that in theory is about 450w

All I need along with the tent and light is the carbon filter, fan and ducting ? Because that will convert the smell in to normal air and then I need to get rid of that through my brick vent out of the ducting ?

Just be careful guys, watts = heat

By the time you are at 400w led ( this style led ) you are giving off over 1000BTU per hour
