I can't find any pics. 😕 does your shade run perfectly parallel to the bulb?

Normally the weight of the bulb makes the shade point up slightly?

yeah it runs parallel to the bulb i have it on chains i even put a little spirit level on it to make sure lol bubble is in the middle. The reflector came with a little hanger that slots into the reflector and between the tubes of the bulb then you turn it and it stops the bulb from dropping at the end.

Here you go, this is what I mean.

Fan behind blowing the air along the shade and out the top away from the seedling.

I fucked things up a little last night. Im on day 4 and there doesnt seem to be much more progress the true leaves are deffo getting bigger in the last few days but a little slow i think. I lifted the plant to make sure it wasnt dead, its not dead it has crazy long taproot and the hairs are starting to elongate now. i watered her with root juice from Bio Bizz. I stressed her by lifting it out, when i went up to check progress this morning the plant was leant over 45 degrees but there has been a bit more progress today i give it a little water before i went to work and it is starting to perk up a little. i have just been giving it very little but often from a spray bottle just on the surface of the soil.

I actually bent mine up a bit more, the shade with a CFL doesn't do much when you have small plants. When they get bigger you will need to spread the light more to cover the bigger plant, then you need the shade to be like yours is.

You definetly don't want leggy plants with a CFL, you'll get really airy buds you have to try and keep them as low as possible to help harden the buds.

Unfortunately, I'd have to remove the top of the fridge to do that

These 2, 5 weeks old and 10-12" away, both 2ft wide and growing strong

Yeah you'll be grand matey. I find with seedlings, if you leave them to it, they will be fine. Keep your CFL no further than about 4 inches away and make sure it has some water and it will be fine. DOnt go giving it nutrients or anything for at least 3-4 weeks.
