    Default too cold?

    Hey! Quick question, anyone help?
Ive started my first grow! Ive got a little stealth cabinet in a shed outside! The light comes on at 4pm and it goes off at 9 in the morning! Ive checked the temp at 11 this morning and it read 6 degrees c. Is that too cold for my little plants?

any suggestions? I was thinking about maybe gettin a little heater, the type you use for reptiles and a thermostat, just to use to keep the temp up. would tht work?

Aright mate, yeah way too cold, i try not to let mine get below 18c lights off. If you cant get any kinda heating in your shed your plants are goin to suffer big time....windle

yea thats why i was thinking about getting a little heater you get for reptile vivariums and a thermostat, so when the temp drops it will automatically come on! i need to keep the temp at a constant level

www.screwfix.co.uk do a 60W tube heater for < £15 its about 18" long and would work fine - did for me, had it on during lights-out.

my lights off temp was around 10-11 and my plants were ok for it bit it can slow growth

Mr Bimble can you tell em what kinda difference in temp you saw with that heater? i can only find a 120w one but i could use that with a envirolight over the winter instead of my 400w hps
