    Default seeds

Just seen a breeder has released some new strains and the parents used are fairly new hyped up strains. It just made me want to know, are most seeds breeders released f1s? Find a dank mother and then have a stud in the collection they think will compliment it well and breed the two. Grow out the results and if good then yay. Package the rest of the seeds and bobs your uncle. Course I know they probably are growing mental numbers in order to find the best parents but is that the way its done?

I sort of imaged breeders would find the two parents they want to breed and then grow out those seeds and select the best before deciding on two siblings which will improve each other and breed those together. Continue to do so for a few generations until you've bred something which produces fairly consistent. Probably would imagine this is done more so with fem seeds as reg grows may want some differences so they can find a mum they would want to keep. Like I say though some breeders seem to knock out seeds of new strains pretty quick, both fem and regs.

Yeah, too many strains are being released too early

The less phenotypes the strain has, the more stable it is

Does that mean most are just releasing f1 seeds? I suppose just trying to get the latest hype out to the market. Although I have heard stuff said about one of my favourite breeders. Him being a pollen chucker lol but he does have access to some nice plants. I haven't had a bad plant grown from any of his work, only thing is though there was a few phenotypes but i didn't mind that as when growing a reg pack I kind of always have my eyes open for finding a mother.

F1 can have different definitions at different view points IMHO, the parents are usually the FI's

This is why in my quest for a mother i went with x 6 gorilla , out of them 6 we should get something stable to work with via clones, most seeds are hit and miss these days so wanting to work with the best of the 6 ,
