    Default Lst for Autoflower

Hi, I am growing in a pc box so I need to LST my ak47 autoflower as early as possible. Whats the earliest you can start to LST ? Is it at a certain height or age or both ?
Any help would be great. Ive read several guides including the sticky one here but you can never listen to too much advice.

You shouldn’t do anything until it’s a couple of nodes high, and has a strong root base. You don’t want to pull it out of the soil. Tie down the base of the plant first, to hold it in place, then train down the top, bending the main stem slightly, so the plant arcs a bit. Be gentle, don’t snap anything on an auto lol.

Yeah Im really worried about doing it to ne honest but the way I figure from reading loads is that when its young its more supple. Also for any chance of a yield with the space I have and the short growth cycle I need to get started early. I had planned to put a soft coated twist wire round the base as an anchor and the bend the stem in stages over several days rather than all at once. Ive pre drilled the pot so I have plenty of anchor points. I see alot of pretty big plants here not trained so I thought id check. I know this is risky for a virgin but given my set up.I.dont really have a choice

Sounds like you’re on the right track bruv, you’ve done plenty of reading. It’s scary putting it into practise but you’ve got to do it some time, your yield will thank you.

The stems don’t start getting stiff until the flowers start to form, as the plant needs to support more weight, the younger you train the better, as when flowers come, you should stop. Got a diary?

I have a diary as in pen and paper yeah but Ive not started one here. Do you think I should ?

Yeah thats what Im thinking, just go for it and if it goes tits up then I will learn for next time. Lol to be fair with the space Ive got with out training early Id end up with a joints worth hahaha. So far Ive started my first seed no issues and got it going ok so far (other than me stressing about over water) so just keep rolling with it and put on my big boy pants and train her as early as poss.

Always a good idea for you to have a diary as a new guy mate, we can keep an eye on you and try to prevent any issues before they arise. And if they do pop up, we can go back and see whats been going on that has caused it

    Go here: https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-foru...rowing-Diaries

Pick the section that applies to you, and start a thread ill see you there
